Welcome to South Africa

Your safari takes place at Olive Creek Safaris in Limpopo Province, roughly 2½–3 hours by road from O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, and about 2½ hours from Kruger National Park.

Road transfers between O.R. Tambo and Olive Creek are included in your package, so this leg is handled once you land.

Where’s the catch?

There isn't one. Olive Creek Safaris, our main sponsor, donated a limited number of packages to help USA4RSA Foundation raise funds. Olive Creek can earn additional income when guests choose optional trophy animals, but there's absolutely no obligation to add any. Your $1,950 base package stays the same either way.

At least one guest per group must participate as a hunter. Each hunter receives one blesbok or one impala ram as part of the package. Non-hunters receive both an elephant interaction and a crocodile interaction, making this suitable for couples, families and mixed groups.

Barend & Anri Lombard

OLIVE CREEK SAFARIS, LIMPOPO PROVINCE, SOUTH AFRICA

Barend and Anri run Olive Creek Safaris from the Limpopo bushveld they both grew up in. Barend is a registered Professional Hunter with a deep, safety-first knowledge of plains and dangerous game hunting. Anri studied veterinary physiotherapy and brings that same care to every part of the guest experience, from horseback game drives to the small details around the lodge. Together they make the safari personal, whether you're chasing a specific trophy or setting foot in the African bush for the first time.
